As part of Sustanabilty, atres makes a contribution to avoid greenhouse emissions and supplies packing and wrapping material since 2013 by way of RIGK GmbH for utilization. Through the feeding of material for Recycling, a calculated contribution for climate protection will be saved.

About atres

For what atres stands for?

Atres stands for anaerobic technique and renewable energy systems.

Who is atres?

The company was founded by Dipl.-Ing. Gunther Pesta in 2006 as “Atres engineering biogas”. Simultaneously to the addition of the business areas analytics, research, academy, consulting and products, we abbreviated the company name into “atres”.

Atres is still owner-managed – economically and personally independent from its customers. The interdisciplinary team of atres ensures a competent treatment of the queries and professional support.

What does atres offer?

Atres offers consulting and laboratory services for energy provision out of organic residual material, regrowing raw material and high polluted wastewater through fermentation into biogas. We support our clients to solve technical, process technical and process biological issues – from planning to commissioning, to extension and efficiency increase.

Our own biogas special laboratory for chemical technical analysis and our biogas technical center with laboratory and pilot biogas plants for research and experiments, is located in Freising-Weihenstephan.

In our internal biogas special laboratory in Freising-Weihenstephan, we focus on necessary analysis parameter in terms of biological process controlling.

Highly-skilled and competent employees carry out the analysis in our atres biogas special laboratory, which is equipped with the most modern measure tools. Longstanding experience and routine of our laboratory team guarantee sufficient analysis results.

Gas chromatographics, optic emission spectrometrics through inductive collaborating plasmas (ICP-OES) and photometrics belong to the main analysis procedures at atres biogas special laboratory.

The WBT® is our standardized batch fermentation test according to VDI RL 4630. The WBT® provides reliable data about the biogas yield – quantitative and qualitative. The chart of accumulated biogas yields over the test duration is an inherent part of our inquiry report.
